Our mentors

The people in your corner.

Our mentors are real people who want young people to win. Many have been skint, stuck or unsure themselves — and they're here to help you skip some of the hard bits.

A mentor and a young person talking one-to-one

Someone who's got your back.

Who are our mentors?

People from all walks of life — working professionals, business owners, tradespeople, creatives and club graduates. What they share: time, honesty and a genuine wish to help.

Looking for a mentor for yourself? That's our Personal Mentor pillar — see how matching works.

  • Set goals that stick

Help members turn 'I want more' into clear, doable next steps.

  • Check in regularly

Short, regular sessions by video, phone or chat to keep momentum.

  • Build confidence

Mock interviews, CV feedback and a bit of belief when it's needed.

  • Stay for the next chapter

Support doesn't stop at the job offer — mentors help members settle in and grow.

Safe by design.

Mentoring only works if members feel safe. Here's what we're putting in place for every mentor.

  • Careful selection

Every mentor will apply, be interviewed and give references before they're matched with anyone.

  • Background checks

All mentors will be DBS checked at the appropriate level before they start.

  • Proper training

All mentors will complete our training on mentoring, boundaries and safeguarding.

  • Ongoing support

Mentors will have regular supervision, a clear code of conduct and a safeguarding lead to go to.

Our full safeguarding policy will be published before mentoring launches.
