What you can ask for
Under UK data protection law, you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of your data (a “subject access request”) — plus information about how we use it, who we share it with and how long we keep it
- Correct your data if it’s wrong or incomplete
- Restrict how we use it — for example, while we check whether it’s accurate
- Object to how we use it — where we rely on legitimate interests, and for direct marketing at any time
- Move your data (“portability”) — get data you gave us in a common, machine-readable format, or ask us to send it to another organisation where that’s technically possible
- Withdraw your consent wherever we rely on it

How to make a request
The easiest way is to use the form below. You can also email privacy@antiskintclub.com (TBC), or ask any member of our team — you don’t have to use particular words or a particular form.
It helps if you tell us which email address you used with us and roughly what you’re looking for (for example, “my mentoring notes from March”). That way we can find it faster.
Asking for someone else? You can make a request on someone else’s behalf, but we’ll need proof that they’ve given you permission (for example, a signed letter of authority) and we’ll usually check with them directly.
Checking it’s you
To protect your data, we need to be sure we’re giving it to the right person. Usually we’ll just ask you to confirm from the email address linked to your account or sign-up.
If we’re not sure, we may ask for a little more information — only what’s reasonable. We’ll never ask for more than we need, and we’ll delete any ID documents as soon as we’ve checked them. The one-month deadline starts once we’ve confirmed who you are.
How long it takes
We’ll respond within one month of receiving your request (or of confirming your identity, if we need to).
If your request is complex, or you’ve sent us several, we can extend this by up to two further months. If we need to, we’ll tell you within the first month and explain why.
We’ll make reasonable and proportionate searches for your data. If there’s a lot of it, we may ask you to help us narrow down what you’re looking for.
Cost
It’s free in almost all cases. We can only charge a reasonable fee (based on our admin costs), or refuse a request, if it’s clearly unfounded or excessive — for example, if you ask for the same information again and again. If that happens, we’ll explain why and tell you about your right to complain.
What you’ll get
For a copy of your data, we’ll normally send it to you electronically in a commonly used format, along with an explanation of how we use it. If you’d prefer it another way, just ask.
Occasionally, the law means we can’t share some information — for example, if it would reveal personal details about someone else, or if sharing it could put someone at risk. If we hold anything back, we’ll tell you, unless the law says we can’t.
Not happy?
Please tell us first at privacy@antiskintclub.com (TBC) and we’ll try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint (opens in a new tab) or on 0303 123 1113.
