Terms of Use

Last updated: 24 October 2026

These are the rules for using the Anti Skint Club website and the club itself. They’re here to keep things fair and keep everyone safe. Please read them — by using the site or joining the club, you agree to them.

Draft for review — this page must be checked by a qualified legal adviser before launch.

About these terms

These terms apply to our website and to the club — including Pods, Personal Mentors, the Planner and Power Tools. Our mobile app is also covered by our End User Licence Agreement.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your personal data, and our Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies. Some features (such as contests or paid extras) may have their own extra terms — we’ll show you those before you take part.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Anti Skint Club Ltd (TBC), and “you” means the person using the site or the club.

Who we are

The Anti Skint Club is run by Anti Skint Club Ltd (TBC), a company registered in England and Wales (company number TBC). Our registered office is TBC.

You can contact us at hello@antiskintclub.com (TBC) or through our contact page.

Who can join

  • You must be 18 or over to join the club, create an account or take part in Pods or mentoring.
  • The club is designed for people aged 18 to 24. If you’re 25 or over, some parts (such as certain Pods or mentoring) may not be available to you. If this affects you as you get older, we’ll give you plenty of notice.
  • The club is currently designed for people living in the UK.
  • We may ask you to confirm your age or identity. If you give us false information, we may close your account.

Your account

When accounts launch, you’ll need one to use most of the club. You agree to:

  • give accurate information and keep it up to date
  • keep your sign-in details private and not share your account with anyone else
  • have only one account
  • tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account

You’re responsible for what happens on your account unless it was caused by something we did wrong or by someone who got your details without you being careless.

You can close your account at any time — see Delete your account.

Membership and payments

At the moment the club is in its pre-launch stage and joining the waitlist is free. If we introduce paid membership or paid extras, we’ll clearly tell you the price, what’s included and how to cancel before you pay. Those details will form part of these terms.

If you buy something from us online, you’ll normally have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. If you ask us to start a service or give you digital content straight away, that right may be reduced or lost — we’ll explain this clearly before you agree.

Purchases made in our app through the Apple App Store or Google Play are also subject to their payment and refund rules.

Pods and mentoring

Pods

Pods are group sessions run live over video, with recordings available on demand. If a session is being recorded, we’ll tell you before it starts. You can keep your camera off, change your display name or use the chat instead if you don’t want to appear in a recording.

Personal Mentors

Your Personal Mentor is there to guide, encourage and help you plan — by video, phone or chat. We don’t record 1:1 sessions without asking you first. Mentors may keep short notes to help them support you between sessions.

Mentors are not therapists, doctors, lawyers or regulated financial advisers (unless we tell you otherwise for a particular session). If you need specialist help, they’ll point you towards it.

Booking and attendance

Please turn up on time and let us know if you can’t make a session, so the space can go to someone else. If you regularly miss sessions without telling us, we may limit future bookings.

Community rules

The club only works if everyone feels safe to show up as themselves. In Pods, chats, mentoring and anywhere else in the club, you agree to:

  • treat other members, mentors and staff with respect
  • keep what others share in Pods and chats confidential — what’s said in the Pod stays in the Pod
  • not record, screenshot or share sessions, messages or other members’ details without their permission

You must not:

  • bully, harass, threaten, intimidate or discriminate against anyone
  • post anything hateful, violent, sexually explicit, illegal or that encourages self-harm
  • try to sell to, recruit or take money from other members — including “get rich quick” schemes, gambling, crypto or investment pitches, or pyramid schemes
  • ask other members for personal details, money or to meet up in a way that makes them uncomfortable
  • pretend to be someone else, or share misleading information
  • spam, or post viruses or anything that could harm the site or other people’s devices
  • try to hack, scrape, overload or get around the security of the site or app, or access accounts that aren’t yours
  • use the club for anything illegal

If you see something that breaks these rules, please tell your Pod host, your mentor or us at hello@antiskintclub.com (TBC).

Safeguarding

Keeping members safe matters more to us than anything else. Although all our members are adults, we know some may be going through a tough time.

  • We aim to carry out appropriate background checks on mentors and Pod hosts before they start, and train them on safeguarding.
  • Mentors keep what you tell them confidential. The exception is if they believe you or someone else is at serious risk of harm — then they may need to share information with our safeguarding lead and, if necessary, emergency services or other support services. Where it’s safe to, they’ll talk to you about it first.
  • Mentors should only contact you through the club’s official channels. If anyone from the club asks you to move to private messaging, asks for money or makes you feel uncomfortable, please tell us.

You can raise a safeguarding concern at any time by emailing hello@antiskintclub.com (TBC) or through our contact page.

The club is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999. If you need to talk to someone now, you can call Samaritans (opens in a new tab) free on 116 123 (24 hours a day), or call NHS 111 for urgent medical help.

Our content

Everything we create for the club — including our name, logo, designs, videos, Pod recordings, worksheets, templates and tools — belongs to us or the people we license it from, and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws.

You can use it for your own personal, non-commercial use as a member. You can’t copy, sell, share, republish or make your own products from it without our written permission. CVs and documents you create using our tools belong to you.

Your content

You own anything you create or share in the club — like messages, Pod contributions, goals, CVs or contest entries (“your content”).

So that we can run the club, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, copy, display and share your content, only as needed to provide the club to you and other members (for example, showing your message to your Pod or including your contribution in a session recording). This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we need to keep for legal or safeguarding reasons, and for content you’ve shared with others that they still hold.

We won’t use your name, image, story or content in our marketing without asking you first.

You’re responsible for making sure you have the right to share anything you post, and that it follows our community rules. We can remove content that breaks these terms.

Contests and giveaways

From time to time we may run contests, challenges or giveaways. Each one will have its own rules (including who can enter, closing dates and prizes), which you’ll find on our contests page. If those rules conflict with these terms, the contest rules apply for that contest.

What we can and can’t promise

We’re here to help you build skills, confidence and better habits. But the information, tools and guidance in the club are general in nature. In particular:

  • It isn’t regulated financial advice. We’re not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to give personal financial or investment advice. Our money tools and content help you understand your options — decisions are yours. For free, impartial help, try MoneyHelper (opens in a new tab).
  • It isn’t legal advice. For legal issues, talk to a qualified adviser or organisations such as Citizens Advice.
  • We can’t guarantee results. We can’t promise you’ll get a job, an interview, a pay rise or a particular amount of money. Your results depend on lots of things outside our control.
  • It isn’t medical or mental health treatment. Mentors can listen and signpost, but they’re not a replacement for a GP or professional support.

We work hard to keep our content accurate and up to date, but things like tax rules, benefits and job markets change. Please check anything important before relying on it.

Availability and changes to the club

We’ll do our best to keep the website, app and club running smoothly, but we can’t promise they’ll always be available or free from errors. We may need to pause things for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control.

We may change, add or remove features as the club grows. If a change significantly affects something you’ve paid for, we’ll tell you in advance and you can cancel and get a refund for any period you’ve paid for but won’t receive.

Our site may link to other websites and services. We’re not responsible for their content or how they use your data — check their own terms and privacy policies.

Our responsibility to you

Your legal rights. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, services must be provided with reasonable care and skill, and digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. For more information, contact Citizens Advice (opens in a new tab).

What we’re responsible for. If we fail to comply with these terms, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it’s obvious it will happen, or if both you and we knew it might happen when you started using the service.

Damage to your device. If digital content we provide damages a device or other digital content belonging to you because we didn’t use reasonable care and skill, we’ll either repair the damage or pay you compensation.

What we’re not responsible for. We provide the club for your personal use only. We’re not responsible for business losses (such as lost profit or business opportunity), or for loss or damage that isn’t foreseeable or that’s caused by something outside our reasonable control.

What we never exclude. We don’t exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for breaking your rights as a consumer.

Suspending or ending your membership

You can stop using the club and close your account at any time.

We may suspend or close your account, remove you from a Pod or end mentoring if:

  • you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, especially our community rules
  • we need to, to protect you, other members, mentors or staff
  • you’re not eligible (for example, you’re under 18)
  • the law or a regulator requires us to

Where it’s reasonable and safe, we’ll warn you first and explain why. If you think we’ve got it wrong, contact us and we’ll review the decision. If we close a paid membership without good reason, we’ll refund any period you’ve paid for but won’t receive.

We may also close the club or a feature entirely. If so, we’ll give you reasonable notice and help you download your data where we can.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — for example, when we launch new features, or to reflect changes in the law. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. If we make important changes, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you don’t agree with the changes, you can close your account.

Other important terms

  • We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We’ll tell you if this happens and make sure it doesn’t reduce your rights.
  • You can’t transfer your membership or account to anyone else.
  • These terms are between you and us. No one else has any rights to enforce them, except as stated in our End User Licence Agreement for app stores.
  • If a court decides part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
  • If we don’t enforce our rights straight away, we can still enforce them later.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can also bring proceedings in Scotland, and if you live in Northern Ireland, in Northern Ireland.

If you have a problem, please talk to us first — most things can be sorted quickly and informally.
