No experience? You've got more than you think
Every job wants experience, but nobody gives you your first shot. Here's how to find the experience you already have — and put it on your CV.

It's the most frustrating loop going: you need experience to get a job, and you need a job to get experience. But here's the thing — 'experience' isn't just a job title with a company logo next to it.
Look at what you already do
Looked after younger siblings? That's responsibility and time management. Sorted the group chat for a five-a-side team? That's organisation and communication. Sold trainers online? That's sales, customer service and handling money.
Employers hiring for entry-level roles aren't expecting a ten-year career. They want to know you'll turn up, learn fast and get on with people. Your everyday life is full of proof.
Turn it into CV lines
Use a simple formula: what you did, plus what came of it. 'Ran a weekend car wash with two mates — made enough to pay for our summer trip' says more about you than 'hard-working team player' ever will.
Then go and get a bit more
Volunteering, a short course or a weekend shift all count. Pick one small thing this month. In the club, the CV Builder in Power Tools walks you through it step by step, and your mentor can give it a once-over before you hit send.
Same you. Bigger possibilities.
